My name is Sencee (SEN-SEE like the sea) and I am a GIA Applied Jewelry Professional. My real exposure to jewelry began almost 2 decades ago when I worked with my clothing designer mother. She carried antique and modern fine jewelry, as well as her own unique creations. I was lucky enough to get a hands on taste of the world of jewelry.

In the last few years, I started to buy fine jewelry for myself. It's been a surprising journey much more about inspiration, self discovery and self worth than I would have expected. Odeur d’Or is a culmination of many parts of my life and work experience coming together into a new adventure.

This jewelry selling journey began with a focus on my love of estate and vintage fine jewelry. It is one of the best ways to get more value, often allowing one to get more gold or better quality or more unusual pieces per dollar spent. But with time there seemed to be items that were always popular and a clear niche for "helper" items became one of my main focuses. Little items that add, layer, extend. I’m still a big believer in most of one's jewelry box being filled with pre-loved gold or the artistry of modern independent jewelry designers, but I hope the way these pieces can multiply a collection justifies their new construction status.
