FAQ

  • What is estate and vintage fine jewelry?

Estate jewelry is any jewelry that has been pre-owned. Vintage refers to pieces that are 20 to 100 years old. Antiques are 100+ years old. Fine jewelry is made using solid precious metals like gold or platinum. Because these pieces have already lived some life we do our best to photograph and detail all their well earned character in our listings.

  • What does Made-to-Order mean?

These pieces are more like assembled to order. I am not currently casting any designs myself, but have been able to find new construction components that I am able to combine into "helper" pieces. Usually with a 1-3 week lead time to shipment. Pre-loved is best, but sometimes we can't find what we want so a little combining and design comes into play.

  • Is this real gold? How do you know?

Yes! We only carry 9 karat to 24 karat real solid gold. All our pieces are tested using an XRF (X-ray fluorescence) scanner, which is one of the most accurate and non-destructive ways to test gold.

  • Where are you & do you ship to my location?

We are a Los Angeles area based business. We currently only ship to the US, Canada & the UK. We ship via Insured USPS Priority Mail. Please feel free to contact us with individual requests and we may add additional delivery locations.

  • Can I returns or exchange my purchase?

All sales are final. We do not accept return or exchanges. We want you to love your pieces, so we do our best to explain each item thoroughly. We are happy to provide additional information, just ask! Yes. Please e-mail bonjour@odeurdor.com or Instagram DM @odeurdor to ask for a quote. Please be aware the repairs and alterations can come with 1-3 week lead times.
