The clasp charm is one of my favorite tools in the jewelry box. These 14k yellow gold dog clips now come in 3 sizes: small, medium and large. Each size has now has its own proportionate size of twisted bail.
Small: Length - 3/4" including bail. Bail opening - 5mm. Clip's inner dimension is 2.7x4.8mm. Thickness of dog clip arm - 1.5mm. New construction.
Medium: Length - 1" including the bail. Bail opening - 6.9mm. Inner opening of dog clip 6.64x3.55mm. Width of dog clip arm - 2.15mm. New construction.
Large: Length - 1.25" including bail. Bail opening - 5.7mm. Inner opening of dog clip - 8.6x5mm. Width of dog clip arm - 2mm. New construction.
