This 7k rose gold former cufflink has a striped background and scroll center frame that now shows off a prong set teardrop turquoise. Body is 7k with a 14k bail. Height - 7/8" including bail. Bail inner opening is 4.2mm. 1g.
This XRF tests as 7k. What I suspect is that this is a 10k front rolled over a base metal backing and when it's x-rayed that's what gives it a reading of 7k. That's also why the tarnish on the back of this doesn't clean like gold.
